How to hold intent and let go of attachment so you can create from PLAY and JOY

Ever heard like a MILLION people on the internet saying "hold your intent, the let go of your attachment to it"

YA. I say it too, but what is the REALITY of doing that?

I was thinking about this over the past few days because, honestly sometimes I think my attachment to my intent keeps me MOTIVATED.

So WHAT'S GOIN' ON. We're all on the path to ascended consciousnesses, so how can we be in grace and integrity around this. Here's what I got...

What would it look like if you were to achieve something without it MEANING something about you?

What if you achieved something for the sheer elation of simply knowing that it was possible for your soul to express itself in this way?

The struggle that most have is that they do not set intent or desire to create anything unless it:-

a) Means something about them (their ability, their strength, their capacity, their innovation, their status and so on and so on. There are an infinite number of things that intent leading to achievement could mean to a person and;

b) they find that unless they reach that same thing and have it display something about them (either to their inner parent, or inner fears) they feel undriven to attempt to reach that same thing in the first place.

In other words, the desire for esteem and meaning in a thing becomes the reason to pursue it.

This is, indeed, a difficult cycle for you to break because it is essentially you saying, "I'm are doing this for no other reason than I simply just want to do it. I want to see what it’s like for my beingness, intent, body, consciousness etc to interact with the world in this way."

You let the depth of experience that comes through the act, process, and interactive unfolding of your beingness in converse with Universe be, in itself, ENOUGH.

How utterly confusing (and perhaps empty) this prospect feels! To do something for no other reason than it FEELS GOOD to do.

Inside there is a curiosity to feel what it’s like to do it, to simply play with reality and “see what it’s like.”

Long before you were conditioned by “the man” to achieve things for status and recognition, this was all that you were doing all the live long day!

You would wake up, go out ,and see what you as your authentic self met with reality. From that place of curiosity, something happened... and it was utterly fascinating for you; it was enough.

It was enough to be in that process and see what it was like for no other reason than you just could, it was fun to do so, to test the limits of yourself.

"Oh look how far I can run! Maybe if I keep running in this way over and over I’ll be able to do it faster, more creatively, more openly!! Maybe I could do it over and over until my lungs burst! Would my lungs burst if I keep doing this?? Let me see!”

Life was fun, playful, inquisitive, silly, and a joy to be in.

This is what we mean when we say, "Let go of the outcome," we mean, play with the reality of who you are, and what reality is in the present moment.

Be the chemist. The one who mixes things together and sees what happens; who experiments, has ideas and tests them and when they don’t work tries something else…

And it doesn’t MEAN anything, it just is a way of being in the world that leads to interesting, new, undiscovered, expansive outcomes.

Where is that person that used to be inside of you?

Where is she?
